Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MSB Control (“MSB Control,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit our website, request a demo, or use our compliance platform. We built MSB Control for regulated money services businesses, so protecting the data entrusted to us is core to the product — not an afterthought.

1. Who we are

MSB Control provides compliance management software for money services businesses (MSBs), including tools for KYC, AML monitoring, regulatory reporting, and program oversight. This policy applies to our public website and the authenticated application, together the “Services.”

For privacy questions, or to exercise any of the rights described below, contact us at info@msbcontrol.com or 1455 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. 20004.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: your name, work email, company name, phone number, and message when you request a demo, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us; account and profile details when you or your organization sets up access; and content you upload into the platform in the course of your compliance work.

Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring links, and similar usage data gathered through cookies and comparable technologies to keep the Services secure and to understand how they are used.

Information from your organization: if you access MSB Control as an employee or agent of a customer, your employer may provide your contact and role information to provision your account.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services; to create and manage accounts; to respond to demo requests and support inquiries; to send the transactional and, where you have opted in, the newsletter communications you request; to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the compliance data our customers upload to the platform for advertising.

4. How we share information

Service providers: we share information with vendors that host our infrastructure, send email, process payments, and provide analytics, each bound to handle it only on our instructions. These include providers such as our cloud database and authentication provider, our email delivery provider, and our payment processor.

Your organization: activity within the platform may be visible to administrators and compliance staff at your organization, consistent with their role-based access.

Legal and safety: we may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of MSB Control, our customers, and others.

Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Compliance records maintained in the platform are retained according to your organization’s configuration and applicable recordkeeping requirements — which for many BSA records is at least five years.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level data isolation between organizations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at info@msbcontrol.com; we may need to verify your identity before acting.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in each message. Transactional messages related to your account and compliance activity are not marketing and may continue while your account is active.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the Services and sign you in, and limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

9. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International users

MSB Control is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand your information may be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.

12. Contact us

Questions about this policy or our data practices can be directed to info@msbcontrol.com or MSB Control, 1455 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. 20004.
